[cc-community] Article on CC on Delicious Top List

It is only on this list that I ever doubt what NC means. ^_^

When I think of NC I think of copying a person's blog post to a mailing
list and sending to folks I know. For the most part NC usage is
everything I currently do, since I don't make money off of anything I
use a CC license for.

The scenarios that pop up on the list here are very interesting, and
while they don't apply to me personally, given the breadth of CC
adopting on the interwebs I can understand how they will pop up. I think
about this all the time, because I am trying to find a place of
confidence when describing how CC works to new bloggers/artists.

I propose that we create a point/counter-point wiki entry about this,
since there is so much to say, and it gets said often. And, well, I get
confused. =P

One more thing: "commercial", definition-wise, seems to indicate
financial value, as opposed to artistic or other value. Anyone know why
the initial drafters chose that language specifically? What is the
*spirit* of the NC license?
