Thank you and thanks to Emma Carroll for this very clear presentation
of the complexities involved.
Maybe a tutorial on ethical image sharing might be a good idea -
prepared by iCommons, Flickr and other image and video sharing
platforms, dealing with cc licenses, privacy, "right to image" (I mean
"droit à l'image", something including the modeling rights you
mention).
Problem: many people don't even read the terms of service when they
sign up for a publishing platform - let alone a tutorial. But it might
be of use to smaller projects like photographers' clubs, and to
journalists and advertisers.
