Remix Commons, and probably ccMixter, have a similar feature.

That's an interesting idea, but I think it might make more sense if we had a 
separate web site where people could say "we're a band interested in free 
culture, we're on tour in these countries between these dates so come and see 
us, and we're open to new dates for free culture gigs, so contact us". 
Incorporating the idea of joint tours (also for supporting acts that travel, 
and for supporting acts in each locality) and possibly tying entries in with 
downloads available elsewhere would also be really nice.

If this info could then be picked up by Jamendo, ccMixter, Simuze, Remix 
Commons, FreeCulture.org(.uk) and so on then that would be an added bonus.

What do you think about that?
