Well, here is a follow on question, answer at your leisure if you know the 
answer: Does anything in the law prevent an artist in a European country from 
signing with ASCAP or BMI instead of the society from their own country? If 
there is not a legal reason, is there a monetary one? That is, do these 
societies favour their own artists over those from other nations/collection 
societies?
