Hi Bryce Leo,

by "does that prevent the printing of the work?" do you mean "prevent 
physically by a technical measure"? I should hope not :)

Otherwise, the NC ND means - if I understand correctly - that people can 
print it for their personal use and the use of their private circle of 
friends and relatives (because this is allowed by copyright law in 
general). But if they want to use it in print, even for a non commercial 
purpose (say, a leaflet about an initiative of a non-profit NGO), then 
they have to ask permission, as print is a different medium, and hence 
would be a derivative use.
