AFAIK In Sweden it's normally the interviewer that holds the copyright 
to an interview (regardless of whether he is doing the interview as a 
part of his job or not). It is the interviewer that does the editing of 
the interview and it that effort which is the reason for his copyright. 
In some cases though, the copyright might be jointly held by the 
interviewer and interviewee, such as for example when the interview is 
published as a verbatim copy of what was actually said.


I would suppose that the rules in the rest of Europe are similar to 
those of Sweden.
