I'm missing something then, because my understanding of CC-Sampling
is that's exactly what it does. The only extra restriction is that
derived works can't be used for advertising, but all other commercial
applications are allowed.
(side note: why in the HELL did the "no advertising" clause get put
into CC-Sampling?)
Perhaps Creative Commons could craft a new version of teh Sampling license
that doesn't exclude using the work in advertisements, but simply allows
all commercial uses.
