That is my understanding also. When I wrote my reply I was assuming
that we were talking about running an English version of Windows that
would also support Greek, Hebrew, etc. As far as I can tell, all
features (except for the ability to change the user interface easily)
discussed in the article that Ken Smith referred to are also implemented
in XP home; I personally work with text in Greek and Hebrew with XP
home. And, of course, the MS-supplied Greek user interface is monotonic,
not polytonic <g>.
