Opera 9 does work (Google was complaining about cookie settings yesterday
on another laptop where I set it to allow all cookies) and is somewhat
faster than Seamonkey to load at 233MHz, but Opera at the GV page uses 52%
and later 62% of 96MB RAM and the pages load extremely slowly as well -
Google is possibly even slower than AT&T and Yahoo. Too much javascript?
A softphone needs 300MHz. A 400MHz was tolerable.

Turning off images did not help and the links do not all have alt tags.
The 'New Contact' link is a picture of a head and +, and when you turn off
images the tooltip also stops working (move the mouse cursor there to see
'New Contact'). 82 sec to switch from contacts page (five contacts) to
inbox (three messages) - solid green box in lower right means you cannot
do anything else while waiting.

Can you delete all cookies with Opera or just one at a time?
Has anyone bothered to try Opera 11?

Sindi
