Insmod the modules for your network card (or plip or whatever you are 
networking with).
Assign it an IP number with  'ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1'

Access that number with Links, telnet, etc.  It should put you into the 
directory where you started httpd from if it works like mini-httpd that I 
tried, unless you change the default.
