What libc version are you using?

You can add glibc from Slackware 8.1 to BL3 and then try the libvga.so.
1.4.3 from Slackware 8.1.

David also provided a uclibc libvga.1.4.3 which needs three uclibc library
files, that I use with his static (or uclibc?) zgv (a better viewer than
seejpeg). These files should all be in the one-floppy USB boot linux that
I posted at my site http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/2.4.31/ - I forget
what I called it. Try making that boot disk and see if it works on your
computer to view images with zgv. zgv filename.jpg

If it works, you can copy the libm.* libc.* and ld-linux from /lib to your
computer, along with the uclibc libvga which needs them.

The older libvga.so.1.3.1 (?) did not work with 2.4.31 kernel.

http://keesan.freeshell.org/blfiles.htm gives info on the files I posted.
