When you use 2.2.26 kernels in the next BL3, please include the sound
devices (audio0 audio1 dsp0 dsp1 sequencer mixer mixer1 and maybe patmgr0
and patmgr1 - dsp is needed for .wav listening and sequencer for .midi,
don't know about the others). And also support for 720K floppy disks (not
drives - you need the extra dev to read the disks in a 1.44MB drive and
the disks are plentiful and free). Don't bother with 360K drives, most
won't work with linux anyway. I needed to make hde/hde1 for a pcmcia in
desktop but don't suggest that you include it.
For sound you could include a default symlink to /dev/hdc.
Can you some day add a p1 2.2.26 scsi-kernel, supporting scsi, sd for hard
disk and sg and sr for CD-ROM boots, and at least aic7xxx controller? I
will attempt this for 2.2.16 or use zimage.s.
Thanks.
