Where would I look for something for S3 Trio64V or Virge, both VESA 1.2?
Could you set up something that would work with BL2 and BL3, assuming
certain minimal hardware (1280 monitor, 2MB RAM) that would be
transferrable between machines? I had a difficult time with Xsvga
answering all those questions about the card and monitor and don't want to
go through this with every new computer.

But Xvesa is really a pain if I want to use more than 80 columns. Just
got a nice ATI card that does 100 columns.

I have two PS/2 mice that won't work with Xvesa, one that won't work with
svgalib. Are they also fussy about FB?

svgalib appears to be limited to 1280x1024x256 colors. Would links2 run
in more than this with FB? Not that I need more colors, just curious.
