you might want to take a look at Genesis 31:13

Your interpretation of the idiomatic phrase erets MOLDTH doesn't make
any sense here. Jacob was already in the land of his relatives.
However, the idiomatic translation 'return to the land of your birth'
fits the context perfectly.
