Isaac,
One clear instance of this (and it's as far as I've looked so far) is in
Genesis 42:1.
וַיַּרְא יַעֲקֹב כִּי יֶשׁ-שֶׁבֶר בְּמִצְרָיִם וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב לְבָנָיו
לָמָּה תִּתְרָאוּ
WYR) Y(QB KY Y$ $BR BMCRYM WY)MR LBNYW LMH TTR)W
And Yaakov saw that there was food (שבר - "grain" or "corn") in Egypt, so he
said to his sons: Why are you [just] looking at each other?
They were standing there looking at each other rather than getting off their
duffs and going to Egypt to save their starving families! We see the use of
להתראות LHTR)WT in the sense of "seeing each other" or "looking at each
other" here in this verse.
