I use SBL Hebrew (http://www.sbl-site.org/educational/
BiblicalFonts_SBLHebrew.aspx) or the previously mentioned Ezra SIL
(http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?
site_id=nrsi&id=EzraSIL_Home).
Both are unicode, however they both use Microsoft's OpenType for
their typographical rules. Mac OS X on the other hand uses Apple
Advanced Typography (AAT). This means that OS X can render the
glyphs, but it doesn't know any of the rules for where to place them
relative to the other characters. The kind folks at Mellel built
OpenType into the word processor to get around this problem, but
there is no similar solution for web browsing yet.
Mac OS X ships with a few AAT fonts such as Raanana, but like Cardo
this doesn't include all the points. I don't know of any full AAT
Tiberian Hebrew font.
