Moreover, the NXM of Job 42:6, where he speaks of his imminent coming  
to rest upon a bed of dust and ashes in his grave, is the same NXM as  
the WA-YI-NAXAMU of Ezekiel 31:16-17
מִקּוֹל מַפַּלְתּוֹ הִרְעַשְׁתִּי  
גוֹיִם בְּהוֹרִדִי אֹתוֹ שְׁאוֹלָה  
אֶת-יוֹרְדֵי בוֹר וַיִּנָּחֲמוּ  
בְּאֶרֶץ תַּחְתִּית כָּל-עֲצֵי- 
עֵדֶן מִבְחַר וְטוֹב-לְבָנוֹן כָּל- 
שֹׁתֵי מָיִם גַּם-הֵם אִתּוֹ  
יָרְדוּ שְׁאוֹלָה אֶל-חַלְלֵי-חָרֶב
and this NXM is also but a milder NXT, as in Job 17:16
בַּדֵּי שְׁאֹל תֵּרַדְנָה אִם-יַחַד  
עַל-עָפָר נָחַת
"Will they descend with me into the nether world? Shall we go down  
together into the dust" [NAB], and in Job 21:13
וּבְרֶגַע שְׁאוֹל יֵחָתּוּ
"and tranquilly [swiftly?] go down to the nether world." [NAB]
