I see what you are saying but for adherents of the TNKh's view of this, which is exclusive of the materialism you were kind enough to describe for me, there are a few issues. In brief, I would say what you mean by "all time," "death," and "power of procreation" may be quite different from what you intend here. As I understand it, medical doctors affirm that they do not know where life ("the quickening" as one called it) comes from and they know it is not merely the result of fertilization.

Again, thank you for clarifying your points for my benefit.

 Regards,

Life was created once for all time and is designed to perpetuate itself. So as a new generation rises the previous generation must recede. It goes both ways: procreation is needed because death is part of life, and death is inevitable because the power of procreation is an essential part of life. Isaac Fried

I'm puzzled by your position only because it is absolutist. Thanks for reiterating it for me.

As I said, it can not be otherwise. ---IF

This is a materialist deduction but the cosmology of Adam prior to disobeying El could well have been otherwise which is also the more predominant view. From where else do you suppose procreation is proof of impending death?

Adam's fate is sealed in Gen 4.1: And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she
conceived, and bare Cain. The power of procreation is a sure sign for
a certain demise. Where there is birth there is death---it can not
be otherwise.
