[b-hebrew] Articular gemination (Was: Hebrew grammar)

 I don't recall the gemination produced by the Hebrew article ever spelled out as two consonants, even in the Hebrew inscriptions. Nor do I recall it spelled with any consonant other than H. Have I overlooked something?

What do you do with Phoenician )BBNM and (MMQM? It is proof that Ha- doesn't exist as a real word with a real consonant. Or we would have to do with people who spell very bad?
