By the way, the rabbis had the same problem, and calculated that there were
only 210 years from Jacob's descent to Egypt until the exodus. There
solution was the well-known midrash that God had originally intended that
the Israelites spend 430 years in Egypt, but since they cried to him so
feverently He gave them "time off" and recalculated the 430 years from
Abraham's first visit in Egypt.
