Here 'eT is the sign of the Direct Object, not the preposition With.
L-B-$ means to clothe; to don; to cloak. It also is used metaphorically
for to endue, or to clothe somebody, with qualities such as Grace, Glory,
etc. Here the Spirit of YHWH is investing Gideon with spiritual qualities
which he will need for the God-given tasks which he is now facing.
