From a Greek Orthodox priest I got the following comment I would like to share it with the group.

One Comment: Of course Christ new Greek! If Pilate conversed with the Sanhendrin and Pharisees, did he do it in Hebrew? Did Jesus converse with Pilate in Aramaic or Latin in the Praetorium? Of course not. In both cases, the language of communication was Greek, (as, of course, you know.) What baffles me, if Herod knew and spoke Aramaic, then can we assume, it, too, was spoken among the Jewish hierarchy, and by extension, by Jesus with H is Jewish disciples? Then, why the Greek use, the language of conversation among the people of all ethnicities which would gather in Jerusalem for commercial as well as religious reasons!!! The Synoptics, and John, are curiously silent on this.
