In Matthew 7:13,14:
EISELQATE DIA THS STENHS PULHS hOTI PLATEIA hH PULH
KAI EURUCWROS hH hODOS hH APAGOUSA EIS THN APWLEIAN,
KAI POLLOI EISIN hOI EISERCOMENOI DI AUTHS
TI STENH hH PULH KAI TEQLIMMENH hH hODOS hH APAGOUSA
EIS THN ZWHN, KAI OLIGOI EISIN hOI hEURISKONTES AUTHN.
7:13 Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate
is wide and the way is spacious that leads to
destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
7:14 But the gate is narrow and the way is difficult
that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

The first part of vs 13 says the gate is narrow, but
immediately qualifies it by saying "the gate is
wide...spacious..." Then vs 14 says the "gate is
narrow." Can someone help explain the characteristics
of this gate; I'm getting mixed signals.
