Joshua:

Lenski has a tendency to read more into the Greek than is actually there. He has sort of a wooden approach to the case and tense uses. I would use him with caution and use him in conjunction with more modern works.

Subject: [B-Greek] R. C. H. Lenski

I have an opportunity to purchase a few R.C.H. Lenski commentaries. I
have been told that he is a good Greek scholar. Can anyone confirm or
deny this? Is it worth purchasing? I have seen him quoted periodically
on this mailing list.

Any insights would be helpful - especially if you also own some of his
works.

Thank you.

Joshua
