Many thanks for your encyclopaedic contribution to this discussion.
I always glossed Galatians 1:6-7 as meaning "a different [hETERON] Gospel
which is not a valid alternative [OUK ALLO]". Or to put it another way, the
Judaizers' "gospel" was heterodoxy, whereas Paul's Gospel was orthodoxy.
Of course ALLOS does not equal ORQOS; but that must be Paul's point. IMHO.
The extended appeal to /Abrahamic/ rather than to /Mosaic/ considerations
